Lesley Anne Derks

Lesley Anne is a woman who is easy to like and an amazing painter of light, she is an inspiration. She was a student of mine when she took a year at Forth Valley College before Glasgow School of Art but she's adamant that I don't remember her from back then, only meeting her again 10 years ago through Forth Valley open studios. Since then she has been a friend and colleague. Supporting each other in our work, exhibiting together, helping each other collect and deliver work, attending openings and visiting exhibitions together, she is a positive influence on my life
